The HP Smart Array P441 RAID controller is a low-profile, PCIe-3 x8, 12Gb/s SAS RAID controller that provides enterprise-class storage performance, increased external scalability and data protection for Gen9 HPE ProLiant Rack and Tower servers as well as Apollo systems. The HPE Smart Array P441 features eight external physical links and delivers the increased server uptime by providing advanced storage functionality, including online RAID level migration between any RAID levels and pre-failure warning. The Smart Array P441 controller includes the transportable FBWC (flash backed write cache) which allows the data in the cache to be migrated to a new controller.
